Conventional medicine dogma is that there is no proven treatment for MCI. However, Dr. Leslie C. Norins, founder of MCI911 explains, “Through medical journal research, I found that is untrue. There are a number of promising compounds already available, both prescription and non-prescription, plus lifestyle adjustments. For each we address, some successes have been reported by reputable researchers.”
Dr. Norins adds, “What the opponents of trying them actually mean is that there has not been the giant, expensive, ‘gold-plated’ field trials paid for by the pharmaceutical companies, that would satisfy the FDA. This is likely because the existing substances are non-patentable and cheap, which means no drug company can justify the expense of clinical trials used for patentable, expensive medicines. So, we decided to step into this vacuum by seeking and distributing research information on available compounds that might be helpful in many cases of MCI.”
All references (with rare exception) must come from “PubMed,” the National Library of Medicine’s online literature retrieval service, usually open only to medical journals requiring peer reviews of research reports prior to publication.
MCI911 is independent, privately held, and not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any other organization, group, or drug company. It is self-funded and does not seek or accept outside donations or grants, nor does it sell any products.
Not a damn thing was being done therapeutically to halt or alleviate Mild Cognitive Impairment before, in many cases, it progressed into Alzheimer’s disease. This is a national disgrace and requires attention. Patients deserve a chance.
